School organised kite festival for students in Ashiravandh School

Students enthusiastically took part in the annual kite festival organised by the As Ashiravandh Primary School, located near Naliya here, on Saturday.

Inaugurating the festival, Education Officer  said that extra-curricular activities play a crucial role in ensuring the overall development of students. Parents and teachers should encourage students to give equal importance to sports to help them reduce stress and keep them fit.

“In today’s world, it is more important for students to keep fit apart from gaining knowledge,”

Shree Ashiravandh Primary School Principal  said that the School had been organizing the event for the many years. Initially, only a few children were seen at the venue. However, the number of kites flying high in the sky increased considerably within a few minutes. While a majority of children were able to quickly fly their kites, a few were struggling to get their kites released from the thread.
