School organised kite festival for students in Ashiravandh School

Students enthusiastically took part in the annual kite festival organised by the As Ashiravandh Primary School, located near Naliya here, on Saturday.
Inaugurating the festival, Education Officer  said that extra-curricular activities play a crucial role in ensuring the overall development of students. Parents and teachers should encourage students to give equal importance to sports to help them reduce stress and keep them fit.
“In today’s world, it is more important for students to keep fit apart from gaining knowledge,”
Shree Ashiravandh Primary School Principal  said that the School had been organizing the event for the many years. Initially, only a few children were seen at the venue. However, the number of kites flying high in the sky increased considerably within a few minutes. While a majority of children were able to quickly fly their kites, a few were struggling to get their kites released from the thread.

Teacher's Day Celebration

Teacher's Day has been celebrated in Ashiravandh School Ta. Abadasa, Di. Katchchh.

September 5th, birthday of Dr.Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, was celebrated in our school. His footsteps, the teachers follow, are being proved on Teacher’s Day.
The performance of students on stage exclusively for teachers was a memorable one. Students from class VI to VII exhibited their talents as a treat to the teachers. Dance, music, mimicry and skit made the day explicable.
The students took great effort and ensured that teachers enjoy every minute. Followed by the cultural programme, games like musical chair and tug of war were conducted for the teachers by the students. All the students from Class III expressed their thankfulness to see their teachers and were full of beans. An oath was taken by the teachers whole-heartily which was given by our Principal Madam and the same was read out by our Correspondent. The oath insisted on quality teaching irrelevant to caste, creed or religion.

Thank you.
